Scheduling and New Patient Coordinator

Abbie has worked at Morristown Pediatric Dentistry for one year at the check-in desk and is the first smiling face you see when you arrive. A native of Maryville, Tennessee, she calls East Tennessee home. She is married and has a son and loves spending time with her family. Her favorite holiday is Christmas, her favorite color is orange, and her favorite team is the Tennessee Vols.

Born and raised in Morristown, Carrie graduated from East High School in 2013 and the Roane State Hygiene Program in 2018.  Citing her love of working with children and the upbeat atmosphere of the office, Carrie is quick to tell you about her appreciation for her boss and co-workers.  When she isn’t at work or cheering on the Vols, Carrie enjoys time on the lake, by the pool, playing card games, or just hanging out with friends and family.  Among her favorite things are the color blue, mashed potatoes, TJ Maxx, Chick Fil A, Christmas, and shopping.

Charity has been a registered dental assistant for 22 years. She’s a graduate of Cherokee High School and Walters State. She’s from both Tennessee and Michigan–but she says Tennessee is home! She loves making friendships with coworkers (including Lexi!) and getting to know our patients. She especially enjoys our birthday lunches! She and her husband, Bryan, have been married for 15 years, and they have a 10-year-old son, Carson. When she’s not at work, Charity enjoys traveling, camping, and watching her son play soccer and basketball. She’s a member of Persia Baptist Church in Rogersville. Her favorite color is purple, and the holiday she most looks forward to is Thanksgiving. And if you want to know her favorite restaurant, it’s Chop House!

The bright and happy atmosphere of Kingsport Pediatric Dentistry is one of the things, Courtney, one of our registered dental assistants, likes most about working here. Courtney really enjoys working with the children and has a special memory of a child giving her a hug after having a treatment he was worried about. When she’s not working, she’s hanging out with her daughter and enjoying the outdoors. She loves swimming, photography, reading, and crafting. Her favorite restaurant is Red Lobster and her favorite colors are peach and teal. She likes going to the beach and has a big heart for celebrating birthdays.

Our RDH/Hospital Coordinator Debbie has worked at Morristown Pediatric Dentistry since 1991. She is from Bean Station and has four children and one granddaughter. She loves doing anything outside—sports, running, playing golf, being at the lake or beach, and loves being with her granddaughter. Since summer is her favorite time of year, July 4th is her favorite holiday. She cheers on the Tennessee Vols and sometimes Alabama when they aren’t playing Tennessee, of course.

An Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, Denise has worked at Morristown Pediatric Dentistry for five and a half years. She is from Cumberland County, Tennessee, and is married with one child and multiple furbabies. She enjoys hiking and spending time with family, and loves Halloween, the color yellow, and cheering on the Patriots.

A graduate of Jefferson County High School, Destiny calls this area home. She has worked at Morristown Pediatric Dentistry for five years. She has one son, attends a local church, and loves to go shopping. Her favorite holiday is Christmas, her favorite color is black, and her favorite team is the Tennessee Vols.

Heather, one of our registered dental hygienists, graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2015 and began working at Kingsport Pediatric Dentistry in 2017. She loves the atmosphere, working with kids, and working at community events. She is married and has one child and a dog. She likes lime green, Mexican food, the store Francesca’s, the restaurant Cranberries, Thanksgiving, and cheering on Clemson!

With over 4 years of experience in dentistry, Kayla is one of our Registered Dental Assistants. A native of Summerville, South Carolina, she calls East Tennessee home. She is married to her high school sweetheart from Morristown and they have one son. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and is a member of The Avenue Church. Her favorite restaurant is Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse and her favorite color is purple. She has a big heart for fall time, loves the Thanksgiving holiday, and is a Vol fan for life.

Laura - Pediatric Dental Staff

Hailing from Newport, TN, with four years of experience as a dental assistant, Laura recently came to Morristown Pediatric Dentistry. Her favorite thing about working here is that it fits right in with her love of working with children.  She also loves spending time with her family, is the proud mother of four, and is very involved in Trinity Baptist Church and a volunteer for the Ark Food Ministries. Although her favorite pastime is watching her kids play sports, you can often find her tuned in to the Lady Vols and UNC Basketball. Laura has been married for 18 years to Matthew, her high school sweetheart.  The couple has 4 children, a Siberian Huskey, a cat, and a bearded dragon known as “Captain Awesome.”

A Registered Dental Assistant since 1994, trained in coronal polishing, Lois says that her favorite thing about working at Kingsport Pediatric Dentistry is belonging to a compassionate work team, whose members are committed to helping children with their dental needs.  Lois grew up in Rogersville but currently lives in Surgoinsville.  She has one child, Jamey, and enjoys hiking outdoors, kayaking, camping, and yard work.

A graduate of Morristown West High School, Marlee calls Morristown home. She has worked at Morristown Pediatric Dentistry for six months. She is married and loves being with her family and friends. She loves the color blue, the Christmas holiday, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols.

From Cincinnati, Ohio, Marlene is married and has three children. She is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and has worked at Morristown Pediatric Dentistry for six years. A graduate of East Tennessee State University, Megan started at Kingsport Pediatric Dentistry in November 2017. She loves working with all the kids as well as Lexi the dog and also enjoys the work outings the employees take. Megan is married and has three dogs. When she’s not working, she is shopping, hiking, traveling, or spending time with friends and family. Her favorite color is purple, her favorite food is pasta, her favorite restaurant is Olive Garden, and her favorite holiday is Christmas.

A Jefferson County High School graduate, Taylor calls this area home. She has worked at Morristown Pediatric Dentistry as a dental hygienist for 10 months. She has two daughters and loves spending time with her girls and her family. Her favorite color is pink, and she loves Thanksgiving and the Tennessee Vols.

Lexi the therapy dog

Therapy Dog

Lexi is an Australian Labradoodle. She has joined our family as a therapy dog for our patients. Lexi is still a puppy and learning, but her presence helps calm and relax the children. She is a hypoallergenic dog, which means no shedding and in MOST cases people with allergies are not affected by her. If for any reason you or your child do not want Lexi out and about while you are in the office, please let us know and we will be happy to put her in her bed!
